The girl with a spray of Bottlebrush, Banksia and Geraldton Wax could be WA pioneer Georgiana Molloy. Georgiana was a young woman who settled in Western Australia in 1830 and is remembered as one of the first botanical collectors in the colony. She gathered an extensive range of native seeds and plants, which together with detailed botanical descriptions she forwarded to collectors in London – Many kept as reference in the Kew Herbarium.
